We had a little chat with Paolo Baresi,former great goalkeeper who played in well known Italian teams such as Ortigia Siracusa and Bologna.
After retiring from the court he went to coach women's handball team like: Dossobuono,Mortara, Bancole and Brescia.
Paolo who do you believe is the favourite team in this upcoming World Championship?
"I believe Spain is the one,because they will play on the homeground.Possibly the Spaniards will have the support of the country rallied behind them."
Besides Spain, would you see any other teams battling it up to reach at least the finals?
"I think we should see France and Denmark reaching the finals and as a darkhorse I would bet on Russia."
Who do you think could win the title of the tournament MVP?
"Mikkel Hansen and possibly Julen Aguinagalde if Spain will reach the top final."
Who could be instead the worst performing team from the top handball nations?
"I say Croatia!"
So just to recap what would be your prediction for the final four top positions?
"1.Spain,2.France,3.Denmark,4.Russia."
